A 23-year-old Brantford driver lost his licence for 30 days earlier this week after Waterloo regional police clocked him travelling at more than 110 km/hr over the posted speed limit.
A police post on the social media said the speed infraction happened on McQueen Shaver Boulevard in the city's south end.
In addition to the licence suspension, the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
The charge comes with a minimum fine of $2,000 and a maximum fine of $10,000, and six demerit points upon conviction.
